love it. i really want to get a dog this summer – kids are of course on board, but the husband… not so much.

Oh, Anna, I’m in the same boat. My husband is allergic. I keep trying to get him to just take one for the team and learn to live with sneezing, constricted windpipes, and swollen eyes. I mean, does he not love his children and want them to be happy? Sheesh.

Yes, the husband took some convincing. But hand a guy a puppy and he becomes an 8 year-old boy

That’s what my husband said. Now we have 3 and my son tells me that he loves me nearly as much as he loves the dogs :)

Hee! We have two dogs. But the first one is 3 1/2 years older than my eldest son and the dog also prefers adults. The puppy? Adores his boy.

I’m delaying the addition of a dog until we’re in a house that’s bigger than 1200 square feet! Five people is too much already.

My house isn’t much bigger, and we have two dogs! But we do have a nice back yard, so that’s helpful. Kind of.
