I mean, I knew it was going to happen, but I was hoping for a final hurrah, a lingering.

I wanted a Last Time.

I’m a weaner wiener

It’s my fault. It is.

I mentioned to David that I was kind of over the whole nursing thing. Really, it’s just the morning session that kinda wears on me.

If I let him, X would nurse for an hour. Thing is 1) I don’t have that kind of time if he gets up later than usual and 2) I just want to sleep when he gets up earlier than usual but it’s impossible with a 23-pound baby sprawled across me.

Also, I want to get back into running in the morning. And I can’t if I’m nursing him during that time or I’m waiting for him to get up to nurse. Plus? He’s not on any other kind of milk yet. He didn’t want rice milk. He threw his cup when we put cow’s milk in it. The kid is hungry, and I figure I’m giving him at least something.

One Month til BlogHer
