Dance mom.

Really?

So not me. I’m barely okay with being a soccer mom and a softball mom and a baseball mom. Hopefully I’ll never be a cheer mom (yeah, yeah, I know).

But Sage had been asking to do a hip hop class for awhile. Some of her friends are doing one and, since we’re done with ice skating for the summer, I signed her up.

Her smile was bigger than the sun.

She took a class for 9-14 year-olds. She held her own.

    Do not despair! One hip hop class does not a Dance Mom make. Just wait until someone tells her that ballet and jazz lessons would improve her posture and form and make her a kick ass urban dancer.

    I think if she’s coordinated and they take it slow, she should be fine! I worried the class moved to fast for Sage but she hung in there like a champ!

    Good for her! My girls did a hip hop class a year or so ago and loved it. And believe me, you gots a long way to go before you hit dance mom status (you’ll need a lot more crazy).

    Wow she sure did old her own… This Doll has some moves:-)
    My daughter took ballet and Jazz. I wasn’t a dance mom either but we have to spread our mom duties fairly…right? I do enjoy baseball and basketball much better…shhhh don’t tell Tink!
