Football Oreos FTW!
Wednesday, January 11th, 2012
I am a football fan.
Specifically, of the New England Patriots (I came back to them after the Victor Kiam years).
I also love Tom Brady.
Ahem.
Anyway, Tuesday I was at the grocery store when I came upon these.
That’s right. Football Oreos.
So I did what every self-respecting blogger does. I snapped a picture and texted it to my friend Kathleen. And then I put it on instagram, which then went to Facebook and twitter.
Duh.
I also threw them into my cart because YES those marketers got me. Take a chocolately cookie stuffed with yummy cream and shape it like a football? Of COURSE I will buy it! (Well played, ladies and gentleman of Nabisco. Well played.)
They will obviously be better than those boring round Oreos.
They so will.
And after Tommy boy shows T. Tebow how it’s done Saturday? They will taste even sweeter.

Wordless Wednesday – Surf and sand
Wednesday, January 4th, 2012
Maybe I’m just an ass.
Whenever East Coasters start complaining about how cold it is, I like to post a picture of the beach. In January.
The truth is, I’d trade spots with you all in a heartbeat, to live back in my homeland. Even if it meant freezing my tuchus off. But since I can’t, since I’m stuck here behind the Orange Curtain, I might as well enjoy the sun.
Right?
Hope this warms you, wherever you are.

Love times two – Wordless Wednesday
Wednesday, October 12th, 2011
Xander was yelling to me, “Take picture, Mommy!”
I am so glad I didn’t wave him off, too busy at the computer. I paid attention. I have become more and more unplugged, as I really get the people who love me most are not on the Internet. They’re right here in front of me.
And that is how I got one of my most favorite shots. It’s like a mirror image of the same person. But it is not. It is two of the boys I love most in the world (Sawyer would’ve made it complete).
I’m linking up with Angry Julie Monday’s Wordless Wednesday.

Wordless Wednesday – It’s good to be 2
Wednesday, July 20th, 2011
You have no idea how happy this picture makes me. Or how happy the sno cone made him. Some moments, it’s good to be the mom of a two year-old.

Word(less) Wednesday – Winter in The OC
Wednesday, January 19th, 2011
Winter in The OC…is when leaves FINALLY start falling from the trees. Trees that aren’t palms, that is. It’s the perfect time to initiate my kids into the joys of chucking scratchy leaves at each other.
And, clearly, at me. But I am a wily veteran. So I get them back. No mercy for children. NO MERCY! Okay, I went easy on them. They’re rookies.
Winter in The OC…is sunset at the beach. Because my husband loves to do spontaneous things, where I am more of a give-me-a-few-days-notice type of girl. He decided we’d go to Laguna Beach on Saturday after X woke up from his nap. After much grumbling (mine), we packed up the kids and headed out. I’m so glad we did. The sky was absofreaking amazing. I took this shot with my iPhone.
Also? East Coast peeps? Don’t be haters. Just come visit!
